Little Man is 5!

This was a fun cake to create.  The brick exterior was made from marshmallow fondant mixed with modeling chocolate and pressed into a brick mould.  The fire is painted on candy melts.  I couldn't find a candle I liked so I made my own by painting a number 5 candle.  It had polka dots so I painted over it in white acrylic paint and then added fire detail.  Just don't let it burn too long and drip on the cake.  We have a connection to the PG Fire Dept and we were able to take a tour and have the party there.  The cake was too big to eat so we left most of it for the firemen.  They deserve it.  It was a fun day!
